ISO 9001 — Quality Management System
Certified quality management covering formulation, production, testing and despatch. The system that makes batch traceability and release control auditable rather than informal.
Tested in our own laboratory. Documented for your market.
Every lubricant manufacturer says its products are high quality. The useful question is a different one: can they show you the test result for the specific batch sitting on your pallet, and can they still show it to you two years later? That is what this page is about.
Our quality system rests on three things — controlled inputs, laboratory release on every batch, and documentation that survives the journey to your customs authority. None of it is outsourced. The laboratory is inside the plant, the batch records are ours, and the person who can explain a result is on site rather than at the end of a supplier's phone line.
01
Base oil arrives from TÜPRAŞ Aliağa and additive packages from established producers in the USA, the UK, Germany, Belgium and Italy. Both are checked on receipt rather than accepted on the supplier's word. Re-refined and recycled base stock is excluded from our system entirely — not restricted to certain grades, excluded.
02
Blending is carried out against an approved formulation with dosing recorded as it happens. Samples are drawn during the run, so a deviation is caught while the batch is still in the tank and correctable, rather than after it has been filled into ten thousand bottles.
03
Nothing is released for despatch without a laboratory result. The batch is tested against its own approved specification, and if it does not meet it, it does not ship — it is held, investigated, and reblended or disposed of.
04
Each batch carries a record linking it to the formulation, the additive lot and the production date, and a reference sample is retained. If a question is raised about a shipment months after it left Istanbul, we can go back to the physical sample rather than to a spreadsheet.
Our standard release testing follows ASTM methods, with additional tests applied according to product type. Results for your batch appear on the certificate of analysis that ships with the goods.
| Test | Method | Applied to |
|---|---|---|
| Kinematic viscosity, 40 °C & 100 °C | ASTM D 445 | All liquid products |
| Viscosity index | ASTM D 2270 | Engine, gear, hydraulic, turbine oils |
| Flash point, COC | ASTM D 92 | All liquid products |
| Pour point | ASTM D 97 | All liquid products |
| Density at 15 °C | ASTM D 4052 | All products |
| Freezing point | ASTM D 1177 | Coolants |
| Boiling point | ASTM D 1120 | Coolants |
| pH | ASTM D 1287 | Coolants |
| Worked penetration & dropping point | NLGI grade | Greases |
| Rust test, emulsion stability | DIN 51360-2 | Metalworking fluids |
Total base number, foam characteristics, demulsibility and copper corrosion testing are applied where the product specification calls for them.
Certified quality management covering formulation, production, testing and despatch. The system that makes batch traceability and release control auditable rather than informal.
Certified environmental management covering waste handling, storage and discharge across the site.
Turkish national standards certification, held since our early years of production.
Certification for shipments into Nigeria and other West African markets operating pre-shipment conformity programmes. PVoC and COC support for other jurisdictions is arranged per shipment.
A shipment held at port over a missing document costs more than the document ever would have. We prepare the full set before the container leaves Istanbul, in the format the destination market expects.
Yes, for every batch, as standard rather than on request. It states the tested results for your specific production run against the approved specification — not a generic datasheet reprinted with a new date.
Yes, and several of our customers do. We will arrange third-party inspection through SGS, Intertek or Bureau Veritas at your request, and we will share our own laboratory results alongside so the two can be compared directly.
We retain a reference sample from every production run. A reorder is checked against the sample you originally approved, which is a stronger guarantee than checking against a specification range — a product can sit inside a specification and still behave differently.
No. All base oil is virgin stock from TÜPRAŞ Aliağa. This applies across the entire range including the lowest-priced monogrades, and it is the single specification we do not adjust to meet a price target.
Send us the batch number from the label. We pull the batch record and the retained reference sample, test it again, and give you the result — whether it supports our position or not. Complaints traced to a genuine production issue are our responsibility to resolve.
All of them are downloadable from this site. If your compliance department needs something not listed, ask and we will confirm whether we hold it rather than sending a substitute document and hoping it passes.
Then send us the products and volumes. We will come back with a specification, a batch plan and the documentation set for your destination market.
