Industrial Lubricants

Hydraulic, Turbine, Heat Transfer and Metalworking Fluids

Industrial lubricants are sold on performance data and delivered in bulk. There is no shelf, no bottle design and no consumer to persuade — the buyer is a plant engineer or a technical distributor who reads the datasheet before the price list. That makes this the most straightforward category we produce under private label, and often the highest-volume one.

Our industrial range covers hydraulic systems, steam and gas turbines, thermal oil circuits, metal cutting and forming, concrete and steel mould release, and general machine circulation. Products are supplied in 10 L and 20 L containers, 208 L drums, IBC and bulk road tanker. Because industrial customers reorder against a fixed specification rather than a brand promise, batch-to-batch consistency matters more here than anywhere else in our catalogue — every production run is released against its own certificate of analysis.

01. Hydraulic Oils — EXTRA HYDRO Series

ISO VG 32, 37, 46 and 68, developed with pump and component manufacturers for severe systems running high-pressure, high-output pumps. High-VI base stocks with antiwear and film-strength additives, strong oxidation resistance, good demulsibility and antifoam performance. The volume product of our industrial range.

02. Turbine & Circulation Oils

Turbine oils in ISO VG 32, 46 and 68 from selectively refined base stocks, designed for steam turbines, gas turbines and combined-cycle units under severe operating conditions — excellent demulsibility, high foam resistance, rapid air release and high oxidation stability. Alongside these, the LUBO circulation range to DIN 51515 (R+O), BS 489 and MIL-L-17672D for stationary engines, compressors, bearings and chain drives.

03. Heat Transfer Fluids

Refined paraffinic thermal oils in VG 32 and 46, non-corrosive to steel and copper, rated for closed systems up to 315 °C and open systems up to 200 °C, against Kema Qualit B.V. and HOLMES requirements. High specific heat and thermal conductivity with low volatility, and no residue formation at elevated temperature.

04. Metalworking & Mould Release Oils

EXTRA BOR soluble cutting oil, a multi-purpose milk emulsion for cutting and grinding aluminium, copper alloy, mild steel and cast iron, with biocide additives that extend emulsion life and a pass rating on DIN 51360-2 stage 1 rust testing. Plus PLASTY C for concrete formwork and PLASTY A for large steel construction moulds, both water-resistant and applied by spray or brush.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Do you produce industrial oils under private label as well?

Yes, and the entry volumes here are often lower than in automotive because the packaging is simpler — a drum label is far cheaper to develop than a full bottle and carton programme. Many of our customers begin with hydraulic oil in drums and add the automotive range once the brand is established.

2. Can you match a specification I am currently buying?

Send us the technical data sheet of the product you want replaced and our laboratory will build to the same property envelope — viscosity grade, VI, flash point, pour point, demulsibility and antifoam behaviour. Where a property in the original datasheet is unrealistic or misprinted, we will tell you rather than quietly ignore it.

3. Which ISO viscosity grades do you hold?

ISO VG 32, 37, 46 and 68 in the hydraulic range and 32, 46 and 68 in turbine. Grades outside this list — VG 100, 150, 220 and above for industrial gearboxes — are produced to order rather than held, so allow additional lead time.

4. Do you supply in bulk or IBC?

Yes. Industrial products are available in 10 L and 20 L containers, 208 L drums, 1000 L IBC and bulk road tanker within reachable markets. Bulk and IBC supply is common where the customer packages locally under their own label.

5. How is batch consistency controlled?

Every batch is sampled and tested in our own laboratory before release, and each shipment carries a certificate of analysis for that specific batch. For customers reordering against a fixed specification we retain a reference sample so subsequent runs can be checked against the original.

6. Is the cutting oil supplied ready to use?

No — EXTRA BOR is a concentrate, mixed on site at roughly 5% oil to 95% water. Always add the oil to the water rather than the reverse. Full mixing and handling guidance ships with the safety data sheet.
